DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our first meeting (virtual\, of course)\, on Wednesday\,May 5\, 2021 from 7:00 –8:30 p.m. We will be discussing Ian McEwan’s novel Nutshell. We’ll have time to socialize\, discuss the future of the Book Club\, and of course\, discuss the book. \n\n\n\nOne of our own\, Mary Jane Mona\, will facilitate. \n\n\n\nRSVP by Friday\, April 30\, 2021. Register here. \n\n\n\nTell other Green Mountain Bulldogs. \n\n\n\nIan McEwan is a contemporary wonder of a novelist\, prolific and diverse in his subjects\, penning such masterpieces as Atonement\, Sweet Tooth\, Saturday and On Chesil Beach. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the short novel Nutshell\, McEwan offers a thoroughly modern\, loose retelling of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
