Dr. Gleick is a hydroclimatologist, member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, MacArthur Fellow, and winner of the 2018 Carl Sagan Prize for the Popularization of Science. He will present a scientific summary for a general audience followed by Q&A.

A world-renowned expert on climate change and water issues who communicates complex issues in a clearly understandable manner, Dr. Gleick was also the Yale roommate of YARI board member John Thompson.
This presentation follows YARI’s November 19, 2020, webinar on “The Economics of Climate Change” that featured Professor Robert Mendelsohn of the Yale School of the Environment.  A video recording of that webinar is available below.
