1. President’s Welcome

First official Board meeting! New fiscal year. Introductions.

2. Communications update

a. Website: Jim Lengel website running fine. August event registration added. Working on “profiles” there are about a dozen right now. Suggestions welcomed. Board members encouraged to do a profile. Photo also – new or “back in the day”

b. Newsletter: Stephen Morris Next one later this week. Needs coordination with YAA content. Send along any new items.

3. Finance (Kathryn Blume/on vacation)

a. Club status (Stephen) https://bizfilings.vermont.gov/online/BusinessInquire/BusinessInformation?businessID=46105 Terry to reach out to the previous Directors (Kimberly Cheney and/or Donn Blodgett) to see if we can the old Corporation resurrected Does it have 501c(3) or 501c(7) status?

4. Programs & Activities

a. Meet & greet with Harvard Club/July 22 at Switchback Brewery, Burlington Time to be published – maybe 5-7pm

b. Annual summer gathering August 15

– Catering – not been successful thus far. Fallback position is potluck. Stephen will use his publishing business for finances for the moment. Payment through the website won’t be in place. Registration is online. Best-guess estimating 50 attendees

c. Book Club- Mary Jane Mona September 15 7-8:30 pm Elaine to lead the discussion. Special video from the author! Email invitation to go out this Friday. Buy the book locally.

d. Football game vs. Dartmouth-October 9 Likely in conjunction with the Yale Club of New Hampshire. Who wants to champion this?

e. Other events Stratton Mountain. Weekday: skiing, lunch, etc. at the Club
